Electrolysis is like a magic trick that uses electricity to “unsqueeze” the lemonade and get the lemons back.

Here’s how it works:

The lemonade bowl: That’s the special water we use, called an electrolyte. Think of it like bubbly lemonade mixed with tiny salt grains.

The metal spoons: These are the electrodes, like two metal friends helping in the trick. The lemons gather around the “minus” friend, separating from the salty water. It’s like the magic trick where you pull a rabbit out of a hat, but instead of a rabbit, we get lemon magic!

This means we can use electrolysis to separate many things, like metals from rocks or even clean water from dirty water. It’s like a tiny superhero team working together to solve problems with electricity!

The same works for how Electricity is generated from Hydrogen.

Imagine you have a bowl of lemonade, but the lemons won’t come out!
